Half-Way There!!

Well Y'all, I'm half-way through this pregnancy, WOW~I can't believe that!!
We got to see little peanut yesterday at my appointment (and no we did NOT find out the gender ;) ) . Everything looks wonderful and we're still on track for the end of July. Ben & Emma got a kick out of getting to see the baby movin' around and hearing the heartbeat. And believe me this baby is a mover!! To be more specific a roller ;) We are so looking forward to meeting our new little precious in July!

As for guesses, I'm not sure of mine yet~ but I'm leaning toward Boy

It SNOWED!!

YEA, we woke up this morning to snow covering our entire front & back yards!! Of course our camera is still not working Blah! But hooray, this makes this northern girl VERY happy!!

When the kids are away, the Parents will Play

This weekend, my parents watched Ben & Emma so that Chris & I could have some alone time before peanut arrives. We dropped the kiddos off on Saturday afternoon and headed to the Westin Stonebriar to check into our gorgeous room. Then we headed over to the Shops at Legacy and peeked around a couple of places. Then off to Mi Cocina for an awesome dinner!! I was craving some mega chocolate (hmmm maybe peanut is a girl ;) ) so we walked down to Schakolad Chocolate Factory~Oh My Gosh, it was the best ever!!

After that, we went over to the Mall to do some Maternity clothes shopping. Then we headed back for a quiet night at the hotel. Sunday we actually got to sleep in a little ;) Then we went to a late Breakfast at Le Peep (yummy!!) and headed back to see the kiddos. What a wonderful weekend we had!!
*Sorry for no pics, our camera died right as we tried to take the first pick on Saturday. (Darn technology!)

What a GREAT day we've had so far, Ben had a Blast at his preschool valentine's party and Miss Emma Kate and I got some us time! We went to my check-up and heard Baby Scheurer's heartbeat (it was around 140-145~for those who are interested ;)) I told my doc that we were gonna wait and be surprised, she's really excited about us wanting to wait. Then Emma and I went out to lunch before we had to pick Ben up from school, Fun times!! Also, as I sit here typing this out, I can feel the little peanut movin' around in there!! :)

FUN Saturday!!

What a fun day we had on Saturday! We woke up and headed out to visit Great Gram in Oak Cliff. She's been having some health issues and we wanted to go and check on her. Both Ben & Emma drew her some beautiful pictures, which she loved!! She was So excited to see her babies!! She was even more excited when we told her she was going to have another great Grandchild in July!!! We took her out to lunch at Spring Creek BBQ, it was so nice for her to get out and about~ Though I think we may have worn her out a little. Then back to the village to look around and get Gram back to her room. We loved getting to see Great Gram Hopper (or as Emma says "Great Gram Popper") today!!

Party of 5!!!

Back in August, Ben drew a really cute picture of our swingset along with various people. I of course wasn't sure exactly who the people were so I had him "explain it" to me. His explanation was: "there's Gaga, Papa, Nana, Ben, Emma, Daddy, Mommy and the Baby"~I said "what baby?" Ben said "our baby that will be here in July".....

Well, Ben was RIGHT!??! I am pregnant, and I am due the end of July!! We are all really excited!! Emma can't wait to be a Big Sister and when we told Ben he said "My dreams came true"~How sweet is that!?!? We are looking forward to being a party of 5 and we won't be finding out the gender til the baby gets here. ~ Since this is my last, I want to be surprised ;)

GO BUCKS!!!

Well for those of you that follow college football, tonight is THE night! And as some of you know, I am originally from Columbus, OHIO SO I have to shout GO BUCKS!!!!! ~My Dad went to school there as well as a couple of my uncles!! WOW, I can't believe it's 2008!! What fun we had last night at My parents for a New Year's Eve Party, we were so lucky to have my Grandfather from Ohio there. Tons of great food and games and movies!! What a great way to end 2007!! :) Hope Y'all had a great one as well!! Here's hoping for a wonderful and Blessed New Year!!! :)
